‘The Boys’ Season 4 Trailer Teases More Chaos and Blood in 2024

Anthony Starr as Homelander in The Boys Season 4

It’s been a crazy weekend at CCXP, where Warner Bros. revealed a ton from some of their upcoming projects, including the first trailer for Godzilla x Kong, but the big winner still remains Saturday. There, Prime Video revealed trailers for two of their biggest shows of next year: The Boys season 4 and Fallout. (Nothing on Rings of Power though.)

But let’s talk about The Boys, because it’s always a good day to do so. We still don’t have a release date, but the Eric Kripke-created series seems to not have backed down four seasons in. We’re getting a lot more political and a lot more bloody, and Homelander is there to witness it all (his public hair is too, see if you can spot it!):

Here is the official synopsis:

“The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

As you can probably see, everyone is back for season 4, including Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti. Interestingly, the platform has not yet confirmed the return of Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, even though the actor did tease he was on the set back in 2022. Newcomers include Susan Heyward as Sister Sage, Valorie Curry as Firecracker, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The new trailer comes on the heels of a successful first season of its spin-off show Gen V, which has been renewed for a second season, and the news that Prime Video is developing a second spin-off series set in Mexico.
