New ‘The Lego Movie 2’ Footage Shown at SDCC
Everything is awesome again! The cast of The Lego Movie 2 stopped by SDCC this morning to give attendees an exclusive look at the upcoming sequel.
The cast initially came out in Lego form (seen in the tweet below) before the actors took to the Hall H stage.

There was no new trailer (the first trailer was only released last month), but the cast did have an exclusive sneak peek for Hall H. The footage shown showcased Emmet (Chris Pratt) meeting a raptor trainer (also Pratt), continuing the self-referential humor of the first film. And Pratt hinted that Emmet might meet a certain Guardian of the Galaxy as well;
“Don’t be surprised if you see another moment of art imitating life in this movie. Was that mysterious enough?”
And, of course, Lego Batman is back. Plus, Lego Harley Quinn? Maybe it’s just for one scene, maybe it’s something more. I guess we’ll find out next year.
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part is due to be assembled in cinemas February 2019.
