‘The Fall Guy’ New Trailer Revealed
Universal Pictures has released the second full trailer for The Fall Guy, their upcoming summer event film from director David Leitch and starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
The pic debuted at the South by Southwest Film Festival to strong reviews and will make its way into theaters on May 3. Leitch’s stunt-double background adds an extra dimension of how personal the story is to him, but this new trailer is mostly focused on the scope of the action depicted in the film. This is the official synopsis for The Fall Guy:
“Ryan Gosling stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Emily Blunt—goes missing.
While the film’s ruthless producer (Hannah Waddingham), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.”
Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as authors like Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
