Allison Schroeder to Co-Write ‘Frozen 2’
Allison Schroeder (Christopher Robin, Hidden Figures) is heading to Arendelle as Frozen 2‘s new co-writer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Schroeder has joined the creative team to assist Jennifer Lee with the script to the highly anticipated sequel, following Lee’s promotion to head Walt Disney Animation Studios in June. In addition to heading up the Studio, Lee remains the lead writer for Frozen 2 as well as co-director alongside Chris Buck.
The story of Frozen 2 remains a closely guarded secret. All we know so far is that it will continue the adventures of Elsa, Anna, and Olaf (returning stars Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad). The original Frozen remains the highest grossing animated feature of all time (worldwide), and has already been followed up by two animated shorts.
Frozen 2 is due for release November 27th 2019.
