Empire Reveals a New Look for ‘The Predator’
The hunter is all set to become the hunted when The Predator hits cinemas later this year, and Empire has exclusively revealed a new look for the classic movie villain.
The reason for the armor upgrade? The new, Ultimate Predator. A hunter more vicious than any seen before in the franchise’s history, who debuted in last month’s trailer.
Speaking with Empire about the changes, writer-director Shane Black explained;
“The challenge was to make it frightening. ‘Cause upon that hinged everything – whether you bought our heroes going up against him and felt like a real threat for them. We had to invent a scenario in which the Predators were mysterious and scary again.”
I guess the question now is, will our human heroes ultimately work with the Predator against their common enemy? Or will they have to fight a war on two fronts for the survival of mankind?
The answer will hit theaters on 14th September 2018.
