‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2 Reveals Two New Trailers, Coming Out June 16

It’s been quite a week for trailers! On top of new Star Wars, Furiosa and Alien trailers, HBO and Game of Thrones have come to plant their flag as kings of the hill by releasing two separate trailers for the new season of House of the Dragon, which is now confirmed to come out on June 16.

Each trailer is focused on each of the sides of the brewing war between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower. Check them out here:

The announcement was made as part of Francesca Orsi’s (executive VP of HBO programming) presentation announcing that Max will be available in Europe starting May 21. A new synopsis has also been released by the network:

Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war with the Green and Black Councils fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively. As each side believes theirs to be the rightful seat on the Iron Throne, the Green and Black trailers reflect those two perspectives in separate yet complementary halves of the same story. For global audiences, “All Must Choose” their side of House Targaryen as the realm fractures in season two.

Six character posters were also revealed yesterday in anticipation of the trailer’s debut:
