Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman’s T-Street To Produce Two Films for Warner Bros.

Rian Johnson

For the first time, Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman will be teaming up via their banner T-Street to produce two movies for Warner Bros.

T-Street has become a powerhouse producing name in town. Just last year they backed the Oscar-winning American Fiction (written and directed by first-timer Cord Jefferson) and the Sundance darling that went on to be forgotten by the Netflix algorithm Fair Play, from Chloe Domont. They are also executive producers on Netflix’s 3 Body Problem, which debuts this week.

This will be the first time they’re working for Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy, as the two film execs are on the hunt for the biggest name partnerships they can get. Just recently they signed Tom Cruise, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, a new film by Paul Thomas Anderson/Leo DiCaprio (dated for summer 2025), and a new film by Ryan Coogler/Michael B. Jordan (still undated). Said De Luca and Abdy in a statement:

“Rian and Ram are the masterminds of so many wildly entertaining films and are a brilliant creative duo who will be right at home among the Warner Bros Motion Picture Group family of storytellers who are working to bring more great movies to theatergoers globally. As Warner Bros Discovery continues to invest in the future of entertainment for audiences of all ages, we are beyond excited to have Rian and Ram here with us.”

Johnson and Bergman added:

“Mike and Pam’s renewed commitment to original storytelling and the theatrical experience make Warner Bros Discovery an ideal place to help us bring the filmmakers we love to audiences around the world on a grand scale.”

In addition, Deadline confirmed that the third Benoit Blanc film, the second under the two-picture deal with Netflix, will be shooting later this year with Daniel Craig confirmed to be returning to the role. Rian Johnson said last year that he had the whole thing mapped out, he just had to write it out. As it happened with the last two, expect a frenzy of casting news right before that happens. A 2025 release date is to be expected.
