‘The Flash’ Teaser Poster Released Ahead of Super Bowl Trailer
Warner Bros. is finally kicking off the marketing campaign for The Flash, DC’s next big adventure and their biggest bet of the year.
The first official trailer for the film will finally debut on Sunday during the Super Bowl, where the studio is expected to drop the full promo online at 4pm PST / 7pm EST and later show a TV spot during one of the game’s commercial breaks. A first look at the film was already previewed during DC FanDome in 2021, back when the movie was supposed to hit November 4, 2022. It was ultimately pushed back to give it more time in post-production, something that has also allowed the studio to retool it in light of the creation of DC Studios and the formation of an overall plan for the franchise moving forward.
The movie stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, who will be traveling across the multiverse and encountering other Barry Allens from different Earths. The film is also going to be Ben Affleck’s last hurrah as Batman, and will mark the return of Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader. Sasha Calle is also going to appear in the film as Supergirl — a Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow feature film is going to be part of DC Studios’ first wave of projects, but it’s currently unknown whether Calle will continue donning the cape.
Andy Muschietti directed the movie from a definitive script by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey). The Flash will speed into theaters on June 16, 2023. Expect the first trailer on Sunday. Meanwhile, here’s the film’s teaser poster:
Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as authors like Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
