We’ve got an intense month in terms of marketing ahead of us, much like what Marvel did in the weeks leading up to the release of Thor: Love and Thunder early this summer. The movie was most recently the focus of the cover story of Empire Magazine’s latest issue, where some new information was revealed, including the fact that the villain of the movie, Namor, is a mutant. While this is a significant piece of news revealed by the actor himself, it’s still unknown if his mutation will actually play a part or even be mentioned in the movie.

As Kevin Feige confirmed earlier this year at San Diego Comic-Con, the movie will cap off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and with the somewhat bumpy road the studio has had this year, Wakanda Forever needs to deliver — and so far it looks like it will. This final trailer teases quite a lot, from Namor’s large role in the movie to Riri Williams becoming Ironheart to the identity of the new Black Panther. Moreover, the cinematography looks stunning thanks to some changes and upgrades to the way it was shot — Ryan Coogler has expanded on that and more in an extensive trailer breakdown with Entertainment Weekly that you can read here.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters on November 11. It was directed by Ryan Coogler, who also co-wrote the script with Joe Robert Cole. The cast includes Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, and the additions of Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart, and Michaela Coel as Aneka.
