Marvel Film Festival Will Screen All 20 MCU Movies in IMAX

Marvel has just revealed plans to screen all 20 of their Marvel Cinematic Universe movies at IMAX theaters over the course of a week as part of their tenth anniversary, with a few repeats thrown in for good measure, and two slots for movies to that are fan favorites to screen again.

 

It should be noted that this will mark the first time that Marvel will screen three of their movies in the IMAX format, and those movies are Iron ManThe Incredible Hulk, and Captain America: The First Avenger. The first five days of the event will play every movie in release order, with four movies playing every day. Following this, there will be a day dedicated to four of the most successful team-up movies, followed by another day dedicated to team-ups. Finally, there will be an extra day where two fan-chosen movies will get encore presentations. You can see the announcement video below:

 

 

Fans can order tickets through Fandango here. The schedule is as follows:

  • 8/30: Iron Man (Matinee), The Incredible Hulk (Late Afternoon), Iron Man 2 (Prime), and Thor (Evening).
  • 8/31: Captain America: The First Avenger (Matinee), The Avengers (Late Afternoon), Iron Man 3 (Prime), and Thor: The Dark World (Evening).
  • 9/1: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Matinee), Guardians of the Galaxy (Late Afternoon), Avengers: Age of Ultron (Prime), and Ant-Man (Evening).
  • 9/2: Captain America: Civil War (Matinee), Doctor Strange (Late Afternoon), Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (Prime), and Spider-Man: Homecoming (Evening).
  • 9/3: Thor: Ragnarok (Matinee), Black Panther (Late Afternoon), Avengers: Infinity War (Prime), and Ant-Man and the Wasp (Evening).
  • 9/4: Iron Man (Matinee), Spider-Man: Homecoming (Late Afternoon), Black Panther (Prime), and Doctor Strange (Evening).
  • 9/5: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (Matinee), Captain America: Civil War (Late Afternoon), The Avengers (Prime), and Avengers: Infinity War (Evening).
  • 9/6: Two fan-selected picks for the Matinee and Late Afternoon time slots.
