RUMOR: Mario Might Cameo in ‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’
A new rumor from Nintenderos has indicated that Nintendo’s mascot Mario could make a cameo in Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, voiced by the character’s longtime voice actor Charles Martinet. However, I would advise that you take this rumor with a grain of salt.
Nintenderos have noticed that IMDB’s cast list of the Wreck-It-Ralph sequel features Martinet credited as Mario. Mario was previously mentioned in the original Wreck-It Ralph, but he did not appear in the film, so a cameo in this film would be unsurprising and very welcome.
However, I should note that I’m personally skeptical of this for one reason: IMDB can be edited by anyone. Plenty of people have faked casting additions to the web database for ages and I don’t suspect that that’s going to change anytime soon. So don’t take this as a complete confirmation that everyone’s favorite Italian plumber will be jumping to the big screen just yet – especially considering that a new animated film with the character is in development at Illumination Entertainment.
