Marvel Studios Pays Tribute to Steve Ditko, the Late ‘Doctor Strange’ and ‘Spider-Man’ Creator
It is with heavy heart that we share the report that Spider-Man and Doctor Strange co-creator Steve Ditko has passed away at the age of 90 due to complications from a heart disease. Marvel Studios, who have just learned of this death, have shared an image thanking him for his work.

Ditko is survived by his nephew, who also goes by the name Steve Ditko. He will be missed.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released on July 5, 2019. A sequel to Doctor Strange is also in development for an unspecified release date.
