‘Ferrari’ Reveals First Trailer for Adam Driver-Led Biopic
With the Venice Film Festival now officially underway, and Michael Mann’s Ferrari set to open there tomorrow, August 31, NEON has debuted the first teaser trailer for the upcoming biopic, which stars Adam Driver in the title role of Enzo Ferrari.
Check out the trailer below:
The film finally landed a distributor earlier this summer, NEON, which will open it in North America on December 25. A worldwide rollout will follow in the months after that. It’s an awards hopeful for the studio, which also has the Cannes Film Festival darling Anatomy of a Fall. How it plays at Venice will determine a lot about what to expect from their Oscar push over the next few months — the film will be part of the official competition along with Bradley Cooper’s Maestro, Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, David Fincher’s The Killer, Ava DuVernay’s Origin, Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things, Michael Franco’s Memory, and Pablo Larraín’s El Conde.
Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as authors like Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
