‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ Reveals New Trailer Ahead of CinemaCon Presentation
Shortly after Total Film Magazine revealed their coverage of the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts featured in the new issue, Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for the film online, ahead of the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon.
The magazine spoke to director Steven Caple Jr., who confirmed the main antagonists of the film will be the Terrorcons and described them as “ruthless”, adding: “I like to pour a lot into the villains. I like to make them layered and dimensional.” Besides Transit, Battletrap, and Nightbird, one of them stands out in particular — Scourge, who is voiced by Peter Dinklage, and who producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura described as a nightmare: “He really has no purpose in life other than destruction.”
Michelle Yeoh voices Airazor in the film, a Maximal who, according to star Anthony Ramos, “sets museums on fire”; she is the first Maximal we see in the film and will serve as a bridge between the Terrorcons and the Maximals in the story, according to Bonaventura. The film will also feature Predacons, though not a lot has been revealed about them, besides that we will meet Scorponok, and also Autobots, in particular, Arcee, Wheeljack and Stratosphere. Caple Jr. teased that there are two “entities” that will be a part of the film but that haven’t been revealed yet.

Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as authors like Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
