The official poster for the film has also been revealed alongside the new preview:
Shazam! Fury of the Gods will be the first of four DC films coming to theaters this year. It will be followed by The Flash in June — which should get its first official trailer during the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks — Blue Beetle, coming out in August, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is currently scheduled for a December release.
These will be the last four entries in the pre-DC Studios era. James Gunn and Peter Safran should reveal part of their overarching plan for DC movies and television within the next week. Whether or not they will include Zachary Levi’s Shazam remains to be seen, but the actor is in good graces with Safran to the point that they went on vacation together a few weeks ago.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods was delayed from a December 2022 release date, and will now finally hit theaters on March 17. David F. Sandberg directed a script by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan. The cast includes Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Helen Mirren, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Lucy Liu, Meagan Good, Grace Caroline Currey, Jack Dylan Grazer, Derek Russo, and Djimon Hounsou, among others.
Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as authors like Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
