‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ Final Trailer and Poster Released
Small things are coming our way in just a few weeks, when Kang the Conqueror finally makes his debut into the Multiverse Saga in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Only two months have passed since Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released in theaters worldwide, and here we are again, getting ourselves ready for the next big MCU flick. To advertise the third Ant-Man installment is coming out on February 17, Marvel Studios has released the final trailer for the film:
The main poster was also released a few hours prior to the trailer, with another (seemingly final) one arriving shortly afterward. Check them out below:
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be the antithesis of the first two Ant-Man films, according to producer Stephen Broussard. Those acted as Avengers “palate cleansers” by nature, he said, as they came out just a couple of months after Age of Ultron and Infinity War, respectively. Instead, Quantumania will be pretty much required viewing for MCU fans by design, as it’s introducing the next big overarching threat: Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror.
The film will officially kick off Phase 5 of the MCU, after The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special closed up Phase 4. Peyton Reed is back in the director’s chair, with Jeff Loveness at the keyboard — he has also been tapped by Marvel Studios to write the script for the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton will be helming. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are joined once again by Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas, and Kathryn Newton takes on the role of Cassie Lang, who will probably become Stature in the new film. Jonathan Majors arrives as Kang the Conqueror, as mentioned above. Corey Stoll (who has seemingly become MODOK), Randall Park, and Bill Murray round up the cast.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released in theaters on February 17, 2023.
Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as authors like Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
