Huzzah! Matt Groening’s ‘Disenchantment’ Teased
Disenchantment, Matt Groening’s new Netflix series, teases its place in the cartoonist’s pantheon.
Citing that “you’ve seen the future in Futurama” and “you’ve seen the present in Springfield”, this teaser suggests that the next logical step is the past. Set in a kingdom called Dreamland, Disenchantment seems to be quite a bit more than simply in the past though, given its clear fantasy inspiration.
The teaser is otherwise relatively short, showing only Abbi Jacobson’s Princess Bean being brought before her kingly father, voiced by John DiMaggio.
Other notable voice actors include Eric Andre, as well as Futurama and The Simpsons veterans Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, and more.
Disenchantment is coming to Netflix users on August 17, 2018.
