‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Trailer Misses Its Title Hero, Introduces New Characters
Marvel Studios has just introduced, during their panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, the first official trailer for the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Without further ado, check it out here:
The first official poster for the movie was also released:
Kevin Feige was on stage, along with Ryan Coogler and other members of the cast, where they discussed the movie as well as the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman. Coogler got emotional when he came out on stage, saying about Boseman “I promise you that I can feel his arm on my shoulder right now.” The entire cast came out on stage then, and they confirmed that Namor will appear in the movie, played by Tenoch Huerta. Michaela Coel was also confirmed to be joining the cast.
The trailer teases that the movie will have a new Black Panther, which, from this shot alone, could very well be Michael B. Jordan back as Killmonger, although that’s pure speculation:
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters on November 11. It was directed by Ryan Coogler, who also co-wrote the script with Joe Robert Cole. The cast includes Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, and the additions of Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart, and Michaela Coel as Aneka.
Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as authors like Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
