‘Ambulance’ Trailer Reveals Michael Bay’s Latest Action Extravaganza

Ambulance

Michael Bay is back in business with his latest action-drama Ambulance.

The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Eiza González, and has just released the first official trailer. Check it out below:

The script was written by Chris Fedak (Prodigal Son), and the film has been produced by James Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer, and Will Sherack. The script was highly coveted across Hollywood for quite some time, and was unable to attach a director until Bay saw it himself. Insiders claim the spirit of the film is in the vein of 90s action films like Speed and Bad Boys, something right up the veteran action director’s alley.

This also marks the return of Michale Bay to the theatrical business, since the director’s last movie, 6 Underground, was released in December 2019 on Netflix. The director is hit or miss at the box office — two of his five Transformers movies crossed the $1 billion mark, and all of them made over $600 million, but his last two non-franchise, non-Netflix movies (Pain & Gain and 13 Hours) couldn’t even crack $100M worldwide. We’ll see how this one does.

Ambulance will be released on February 18, 2022. Weirdly enough, the other movie set to open wide that day has just released its first trailer today too — Uncharted, starring Tom Holland.
