DC FanDome Debuts Behind the Scenes Look at ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Prepare to go back under the sea as director James Wan and star Jason Momoa bring an exclusive look behind the scenes of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to DC FanDome.

The first Aquaman film cemented Momoa’s take on the character in pop culture history and propelled a character once considered a joke into the biggest box office star of the DCEU. Now, Wan and Momoa are taking Arthur Curry on the next stage of his journey and continue to build on the undersea world established in the original as they explore the Lost Kingdom.

Beyond Aquaman’s new stealth suit, very little was revealed about the film prior to FanDome, so this behind the scenes video is our first chance to see what the movie has in store for fans:

In addition to Jason Momoa, the upcoming sequel will also feature the return of Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, as well as Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, and Randall Park as Doctor Stephen Shin (last seen with Black Manta in the post-credits scene of the first movie). Joining them with be Jani Zhao as the new character Stingray, plus Vincent Regan as the legendary King Atlan, the first ruler of Atlantis.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom swims into cinemas on December 16, 2022.
