‘Black Widow’ and ‘Loki’ Debut New Clips

Black Widow and Loki have just debuted two new clips!

During last night’s MTV Movie Awards, where WandaVision predictably won big, Disney and Marvel Studios took advantage of the media coverage and released two new clips of Black Widow (July 9 only in cinemas) and Loki (June 9 on Disney Plus), the next two chapters in the MCU’s Phase 4. We have already seen plenty of trailers and previews for both productions, so at this point Marvel only needs to focus on the final marketing push: spots and clips.

The new clip from Black Widow offers a brief look at one of the film’s many action sequences, a high-speed chase through some streets. There’s nothing especially breathtaking about this sequence, but it looks punchy and exciting enough, plus the banter between Natasha and Yelena sounds fun. Let’s just hope this film doesn’t feel like an extremely “lite” version of the Mission: Impossible saga.

On other hand, the new look at Loki introduces Agent Mobius, Owen Wilson’s character, who appears to be on top of the situation and to know the God of Mischief very well. I’m sure Hiddleston and Wilson have great on-screen chemistry beyond this scene, and the show looks insane in the best possible ways. Less than one month to go now!

Marvel Studios isn’t slowing down anytime soon its output of films and TV series for Disney Plus, so earlier this month they released a handy recap/preview of what to expect from their theatrical releases over the next few years. In addition to the aforementioned flicks, the shows confirmed (and in various stages of development) past Loki so far are: What If…?HawkeyeMs. MarvelMoon KnightShe-HulkSecret InvasionIronheartArmor WarsThe Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, an untitled show about Wakanda, and I Am Groot.
