‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’: New Sizzle Reel For The Flash Emphasizes The Speed Force
Another day, another sizzle reel for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The Flash is up this time, with a new ad emphasizing his connection to the Speed Force.
In contrast to the previous clip show, most of the footage revealed here was not included in the theatrical version, aside from an opening shot. This time, we hear from Henry Allen, Batman, and Cyborg, before ending on a quote from The Flash. A lot of emphasis is placed upon Henry’s discussion with his son from inside prison, and Batman mentoring one of the youngest members of the nascent Justice League, along with The Flash realizing the true potential of his powers. (It is believed that some sort of time travel will factor into the closing battle, so we’ll just have to wait and see how that goes.)

Curiously, we don’t hear from Iris West aside from seeing her being rescued from a lethal car crash. Her role in the film is supposedly much closer in nature to a cameo (since she was specifically cast for a previous version of The Flash than the one that’s set to start filming soon, which will still keep her involved in the role), so perhaps it’s just that she has very minimal dialogue in this iteration of the movie, rather than none at all due to her cameo role being completely excised from the film.
In addition, Zack Snyder has revealed a new black-and-white poster of The Flash:
