Final International Trailer Released for ‘Frozen II’

Frozen II
With the sequel to Disney’s musical smash hit just over a month away, we now have the final international trailer for Frozen II.

After the final US trailer last month, the international trailer strikes a slightly more light hearted note, dialing back on the epic and placing a greater focus on Josh Gad’s Olaf, the loveable snowman who just longed to experience summer.

Whilst Olaf gets the bulk of the new footage in the trailer, the new preview also gives a clearer idea of the film’s story. Distracted from a game of charades with her family, with Olaf giving his best Elsa impression, the Queen of Arendelle is distracted by a mysterious call. When this strange magic threatens her kingdom, Elsa sets off with her friends on a quest to find who is calling to her. As Grand Pabbie warns her that “the spirits will challenge you every step of the way”, we get a clearer look at giants and magical forces that stand in her way, along with some stunning animation that suggests the first Frozen only revealed the tip of the iceberg in terms of Elsa’s powers.

“Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad.”

Frozen II opens November 22nd, 2019.
