‘Avengers: Endgame’ TV Spots Have New Captain America Dialogue

Avengers
Captain America gets a little extra spotlight in two new Avengers: Endgame TV spots, which give the First Avenger some additional dialogue. In addition, there’s a new, leaked Avengers product that seems to raise a few questions.

Both of these TV spots aired with sporting events that happened pretty recently, suggesting that the big push for advertising the fourth and final (for now) Avengers movie is about to kick it into high gear. It’s been heavily speculated that Avengers: Endgame tickets are about to go on sale in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled for screenings. The ads can be viewed below:

Captain America appears to be in higher spirits than the previous trailers have indicated, suggesting that, in spite of the massive stakes involved, there’s room for some hopeful moments in what should be a bleak, climactic film. One can only hope that he’ll be able to lead the team into success as the Avengers face their strongest enemy ever once again.

One other thing that I’d like to point out is that there’s a leaked Funko POP! figure of a different character, and it’s one that suggests a possible story element that may have some plot relevance. It’s of Nebula, and her appearance is a little different than usual:

The orange portion of her face may or may not indicate that she ends up donating some of her parts for an as-of-yet unseen purpose. Likely, she’s willing to give up pieces of herself in order to save her and Tony Stark when the Benatar runs out of fuel, and she gets some new parts later. The TV ads aren’t showing Nebula with the orange cybernetics in spite of wearing the white Quantum Energy uniform, which is interesting and makes you wonder what else they’re hiding…

The film’s official synopsis is as follows:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
