Final Trailer Released for Disney’s ‘Dumbo’

Dumbo
Dumbo is set to soar back into theaters and audiences’ hearts next month, and now Disney released the final trailer for Tim Burton’s live action reimagining of the beloved classic.

Whilst the first two trailers have captured the wonder of a flying elephant, they have also had a more somber tone. Set to a haunting rendition of ‘Baby of Mine’, and showing the baby Dumbo being separated from his mother.

The new trailer again shows the magic of a flying elephant, but focuses more on humor rather than heartbreak, with Danny DeVito’s Max Medici telling Dumbo “Okay Big D, this is it! Just like in rehearsal. Except for lights, music, fire, and crowds. You can do it!”, and a circus magician telling Colin Farrell’s Holt Farrier “Don’t look at me!” when he’s tasked with making the baby elephant’s large ears disappear.

Dumbo himself looks adorable, as he should, and images such as the little elephant, dressed up for the big top with his feather clasped in his trunk, are sure to warm the hearts of fans of the animated original.

In addition to the final trailer, Disney also released a new poster for the live action reimagining;

Dumbo

From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action adventure Dumbo expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V. A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heighs alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Dumbo soars into theaters March 29th.
