First Character Trailer Released for ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’
The Secret Life of Pets 2 is going where all pets dread in the first trailer for next year’s sequel; the vets.
The first in a promised series of character trailers focuses on Patton Oswalt’s Max. It starts innocently enough, with the promise of a walk, until Max realises where they’re really going. Then things get a little crazy as Max meets all kinds of pets with “behavioural disorders”.
Joining Patton Oswalt are returning cast members Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, and Danny Carvey. In addition to the original cast, new voices will include Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll, Pete Holmes, and Harrison Ford.
The Secret Life of Pets 2 is directed by Chris Renaud with co-director Yarrow Cheney. The script is by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul, and Ken Daurio. The film is produced by Illumination Entertainment’s CEO and founder Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy.
The movie is due for release June 7th 2019 with more character trailers promised soon.
