More ‘Titans’ Images Released Ahead of DC Universe Launch

Titans
DC released the first batch of Titans episode photos yesterday, ahead of this weekend’s launch of DC Universe.

With fandom focused, understandably, on Henry Cavill’s future as Superman yesterday, you’d be forgiven for thinking nothing else was happening in the DC Universe. But that’s not true.

This weekend sees the launch of the DC Universe streaming service and yesterday DC gave fans their best look yet at the upcoming Titans series, releasing a gallery of over thirty images from the first two episodes; ‘Titans’ and ‘Hawk and Dove’.

The images showcase Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson/Robin and Teagan Croft’s Raven, along with new looks at Anna Diop’s Starfire, Alan Ritchson’s Hawk, and Minka Kelly’s Dove. Besides giving us a better look at the costumes, the images appear to be in order, possibly giving us our first glimpse at how the story is set to unfold.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

Titans will receive it’s world premiere at NYCC on October 3rd before launching on DC Universe October 12th with new episodes every Friday.
