‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Could Arrive as Soon as Next Month

Charlie Cox as Daredevil
A post from the official Netflix Twitter account for the region of Thailand suggests that we could be getting Daredevil Season 3 as soon as next month.

The account shared a clip of Daredevil Season 3, which happens to be the same scene that appears after the credits to the last episode of Iron Fist Season 2. In the scene, we see Matt appear as Daredevil in his original, non-armored costume, making a religious confession. He emphasizes that he’s at an absolute low point and is losing faith in a righteous, lawful path in favor of a darker form of vigilantism. You can see the clip below:

The tweet translates to the following:

“‘I would rather die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock.’ 19 October.”

…Along with some other stuff I couldn’t wrap my head around after messing with an online translator. So that’s just over a month and a week from today, and pretty close to the release of Iron Fist Season 2. That’s also on a Friday, which is the typical drop date for a new season of Netflix’s Marvel content, which makes it a likely candidate for being accurate. Netflix usually drops their original content around the same time internationally, so that would mean that people in America and Europe will get it the same day it hits in Thailand.

Hearing that it might drop so soon wouldn’t be as surprising as one would think – for one thing, there are apparently screeners of the first half of the season going out, which would suggest that the show is pretty far along into post-production or is outright done. And if what’s being said rings true for the final product, Daredevil Season 3 will have some of the show’s best episodes. You might even say that it hits the center of the bullseye…

Daredevil Season 3 will be available to stream on Netflix in late 2018.
