First Official ‘Terminator 6’ Image Shows Off Female Leads

Sarah Connor is back!

Production on Terminator 6 has been ongoing since June. Though we’ve seen some leaked photos and Instagram pics, Paramount Pictures has released the first official image of the new film!

From left to right, we see actresses Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, and Linda Hamilton standing side-by-side and looking bad to the bone. Reyes is playing a character named Dani Ramos, and seems to be wearing a mechanic shirt of some kind. Hamilton is of course returning to play the iconic Sarah Connor, and she looks like she is ready to kick some butt.

But the most interesting part of this image is Mackenzie Davis’ character. Davis is playing a character named Grace, and from this image we can see that she is bearing some sort of distinct markings on her skin. Does this mean she is a Skynet creation? Is she an android of some kind? Is her character similar to that of Sam Worthington’s from Terminator Salvation? Only time will tell.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to appear in Terminator 6, and though he is not featured in this image, his shooting schedule has already begun. In a recent video message to the Fijian Prime Minister, Schwarzenegger said:

Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama, I want to congratulate you for this great event and I’m sorry I cannot be with you but I’m currently shooting Terminator 6 and so this is why I’m not there.

Arnold could not attend a climate change conference with the Prime Minister because of his scheduling conflict with Terminator 6. To what capacity he’ll appear in the movie is unclear at this point, but I’m sure fans will be happy to see Arnold back regardless of how much screen time he receives.

Diego Boneta is also set to star in the film, along with Gabriel Luna as the new terminator.

Principal photography on the still untitled Terminator 6 is currently underway, with a release date scheduled for November 22, 2019.
