‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Poster Reveals Clearer Look at King Ghidorah
The first Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer revealed our first look at the movie’s new monsters: Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah – but of the three, we got the least clear look at the last one. A new poster exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con attendees reveals an image of the Big G fighting Ghidorah, which offers a clearer (but still obscured) look at the movie’s big villain as the two titans battle for the title of king.
Director Michael Dougherty shared an image of the poster (illustrated by Christopher Shy) through Twitter for fans who couldn’t make SDCC, revealing more of King Ghidorah’s appearance and giving fans an idea of how big he is compared to the titular King of the Monsters himself:

As it stands, King Ghidorah towers over his opponent and it’s likely that it will take more than Godzilla to stop this monster, although that’s presuming that the artist didn’t take a bit of an artistic license in comparing the sizes of both titans. Thankfully, between Mothra, Rodan, and possibly a few others, Godzilla has plenty of options to choose when it comes to teammates this time around…
Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released on May 31, 2019.
