‘Stranger Things 3’ Viral Marketing Introduces Starcourt Mall
Stranger Things has given us an unexpected first look at the show’s third season: a retro advertisement showing off Hawkins, Indiana’s brand new shopping mall.
The new advertisement features a lot of poppy, patriotic retro charm to show off the development of the Starcourt Mall, featuring a lot of retro logos of companies still existing and out of business. We even get a look at Steve Harrington working a Summer job alongside a new character.

Right now, it’s not clear if the “Starcourt Mall: Coming Next Summer” thing is an official ETA for when Stranger Things 3 will actually premiere, but knowing how Netflix markets things, it wouldn’t be surprising. It’s already clear that Season 3 won’t be hitting later this year.
Stranger Things Season 3 will be released on Netflix sometime next year.
