John Carpenter Begins Work on Scoring ‘Halloween’
Halloween franchise creator and composer John Carpenter has revealed that he’s started work on making the music to the fortieth anniversary movie.
Carpenter, who composed the iconic Halloween theme and the score for the original movie, has confirmed he’s hard at work with the new movie:

Carpenter returns to the film, which has been conceived as a direct sequel to the 1978 classic that ignores every other sequel and reboot. The film is said to be suspense-heavy as opposed to being bloody and gory like many of the less-well-regarded films in the series.
Halloween will be released on October 19, 2018.
