Gal Gadot Reveals First Image of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Costume
Here she is! Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot has revealed the first image of herself in costume in the highly anticipated sequel!
Taking to Twitter this weekend, Gadot simply shared that “she’s back”;

The costume looks almost identical to before, which is fitting since the film is set between Wonder Woman and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and looks fantastic.
Maybe it’s just the lighting in this particular shot, but it certainly looks brighter than in previous films. This would line up with DC’s attempts to move away from the darker aesthetics of their earlier movies, and with reports that this year’s Aquaman is also brighter, both visually and tonally, than its predecessors. Personally, I love the brighter colors, they’re richer, more vibrant, and bring the costume even closer to its comic book counterpart.
Wonder Woman 1984, directed by Patty Jenkins, and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal, is due to hit cinemas November 1st 2019.
