New ‘Christopher Robin’ Poster Brings the Gang Together
A new poster for Christopher Robin shows off some of the film’s quintessential characters.
Today, Disney released a new poster for their upcoming Christopher Robin film. On it, Ewan McGregor’s Christopher Robin stands, surrounded by some of the iconic Hundred Acre Woods characters, animated in a way that more closely reflects the original E. H. Shepard illustrations; Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet, and of course Winnie the Pooh.
A caption on the poster reads “Sooner or later, your past catches up to you”, which has been a common phrase used throughout the film’s marketing. This seems to echo the suggestion that the film will deal with an older Christopher Robin who has lost his imagination.
Christopher Robin, starring Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Jim Cummings, and more will hit theaters on August 3, 2018.
