New ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ Poster and Trailer Go Nuclear

The second trailer for Mission: Impossible – Fallout shows that the stakes have never been higher as Ethan Hunt and his allies must stop the spread of nuclear weapons before the world is thrown into chaos.

 

Solomon Lane, the mastermind behind the Syndicate from the events of the previous film, has escaped from custody and is now more dangerous than ever. Following the failure of an important mission in Berlin, the IMF take it upon themselves to go through with the original intent of the mission in spite of orders to the contrary from their superiors. This leads to the CIA sending agent August Walker after them, believing that they’re stopping a dangerous rogue organization in the process. The trailer can be seen below:

 

 

While I don’t think this is as quite as good as the “Friction” trailer that was released a few months ago, it’s still put together incredibly well and looks to promise one of the best action movies of the year, and the perfect movie to close out the Summer season.
