First Teaser Trailer for ‘The Predator’ Hits

It feels like forever that The Predator has been in development.  The new film in the Predator franchise was announced back in 2014 with Shane Black at the helm and has since seen actors come and go and release date shifting, but it is finally on tap for a September release and the first teaser trailer was put out today.

The film’s deep cast includes stars Boyd Holbrook and Oliva Munn, but also features a number of great actors such as Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, and Edward James Olmos. This installment seems to put the predator vs. prey action in a new environment as the Predators come to the suburbs searching for Jacob Tremely playing the son to star Holbrook.

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
